The Role
As a key player in our team, you will:
* Manage a Diverse Investment Portfolio: Oversee a variety of property and non-property assets, ensuring robust reporting and governance for the College’s investment activities.
* Lead Real Estate Management: Take charge of the day-to-day management of our real estate assets and contribute significantly to major property development projects in Oxford.
* Coordinate with Stakeholders: Act as the College’s client representative, collaborating with consultants, managing agents, and legal advisors to deliver projects effectively and strategically.
* Oversee Non-Property Investments: Manage equities, fixed income, and cash investments, liaising with external managers and working closely with the College’s Head of Finance and other key stakeholders.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
* Experience in Investment Management: Proven track record in managing or supporting investment assets, with some exposure to property development projects.
* Familiarity with Investment Principles: Understanding of portfolio oversight is essential, though deep technical expertise is not required.
* Outstanding Skills: Excellent stakeholder engagement, organizational skills, and a strong respect for governance structures.
* Educational Background: A degree-level education is required; relevant professional qualifications are a plus.
