Role: Mobile Water Treatment Engineer
What the role entails
Mobile Water Treatment Technician is needed for a large facilities management organisation based on a mobile basis in and around Woking / Hampshire. You will be an experienced and well-rounded Mobile Water Treatment Technician with a focus on delivering high-quality Water Treatment services. Core responsibilities include Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descale, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections and Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean and Disinfections, TMV Servicing, and Water Sampling. Experience with dosing of Inhibitor and Biocide, LTHW Systems Testing/Analysis is also required.
Responsibilities
* Represent Water Compliance as a Water Treatment Technician to self-deliver Water Treatment services across the South and Southeast of the UK.
* Tier 1 Water Treatment Technician duties: Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections and Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean and Disinfections, TMV Servicing, Water Sampling.
* Tier 2 duties (in addition to Tier 1): Dosing of Inhibitor and Biocide, LTHW Systems Testing and Analysis.
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) service visits using appropriate tools and systems.
* Ensure all site L8 logbooks for the Primary Technician are up to date and accurate.
* Complete work reports in a timely manner (via day sheets or plans).
What experience you need
* City and Guilds or NVQ qualification relevant to the appropriate Tier grading.
* Up-to-date knowledge of technical regulations including Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and other relevant guidance.
* Fault diagnosis and resolution skills.
* Valid driving licence.
Qualifications
City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent (Level 2) preferred. Prior mobile role experience is a plus.
