Job Title Privacy Compliance Manager Role Support Functions Expertise Privacy & Data Protection Job Location London Description An excellent opportunity has arisen for an in-house professional to join the Group In-House Legal team as a Privacy Compliance Manager. The position would be ideally suited to an individual with experience of working in an operationally-focussed privacy role within an international business for at least two years. Key Responsibilities The Privacy workstream sits within the firm's Group In-House Legal team, which reports to the General Counsel, and is committed to providing a consistently high level of service for the firm and its partners and staff. Under the leadership of the team's Head of Group In-House Legal, it is aligned with and supports the firm's strategy, always promoting a One Firm culture. The function currently comprises a central team in London, consisting of a mixture of lawyers and non-lawyers. The team leads and manages the firm's global privacy compliance programme, from both an operational and advisory perspective. Privacy operations & administration Manage day to day privacy operations, including tracking, logging, and maintain records of: Data subject access requests Data protection impact assessments Data incidents Records of processing activities Maintain privacy registers, trackers, and reporting metrics Coordinate deadlines, follow-ups, and inputs from business services Prepare documentation and evidence for audits, internal reviews, and regulatory readiness Incident & risk support Support the operational handling of data incidents and breaches, including: Logging incidents Coordinating fact finding with IT and Information Security Prepare draft incidents summaries and timelines Assist with maintaining privacy risk registers and tracking remediation actions. Third party and supplier support Coordinate privacy and data protection elements of third-party risk assessments Support supplier onboarding by collecting and reviewing privacy documentation (e.g., questionnaires, DPIAs, etc.,) Track supplier compliance actions and remediation timelines Process and framework support Support the implementation and ongoing operation of the firm's global privacy framework Ensure privacy templates, guidance materials, and international documentation are up to date Assist with embedding privacy by design processes into operational workflows Training and awareness Coordinate privacy training administration Support internal communications relating to privacy processes and compliance obligations What you'll bring Experience and Skills 2-4 years' practical experience supporting EU, UK, US and APAC privacy compliance operations Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail Comfortable managing trackers, workflows, and multiple tasks at once Ability to work with technical, legal and business stakeholders Experience with privacy related tools such as OneTrust or similar.
