We are excited to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join a nursery team at a day nursery in Ilford. This role is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced room leader who is ready to take on more responsibility, support a committed team, and help maintain the highest standards of care and education for the children and families we serve.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the setting. You will support with staff supervision, planning, and ensuring that all children benefit from a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where they can thrive. You'll be a role model for best practice, inspiring and guiding the team, and stepping in to take full responsibility when the Manager is absent.

What They're Looking For
A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a leadership, deputy, or senior practitioner role within an early years environment
Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example
A warm, approachable nature and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff, children, and families
