Job Overview
We are looking to appoint a Band 5 Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI) to work at the Primary Care Rehabilitation Centre (PCRF) Wittering and PCRF Kendrew Barracks. The role is full‑time (37.5 hours per week) with the option for part‑time arrangements on a job‑share basis to ensure full‑time coverage.

Working Hours & Location
* Primarily employed at RAF Wittering (60% of the week – 22.5 hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).
* Secondary shift at Kendrew Barracks (40% of the week – 15 hours: Thursday, Friday).
* Shift times align with PCRF opening hours: Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑17:00, Friday 08:00‑15:00.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑standard exercise‑based rehabilitation, including specialist musculo‑skeletal/sports‑training injury work for the population at risk (PAR).
* Conduct clinical assessments and design safe, progressive exercise treatment schedules in accordance with diagnoses from Medical Officer/Physiotherapist/Clinical Team Manager/DMRC.
* Communicate effectively with patients to secure informed consent, explain conditions and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
* Maintain accurate treatment records and monitor patient progress in the Defence Medical Information Capability Program (DMICP).
* Report findings to Medical Officer or Physiotherapist.
* Develop and uphold personal professional standards and a high level of service quality.
* Prepare clinical reports to support comprehensive discharge planning for both referring source and ongoing patient care with other health professionals.
Qualifications & Experience
* Band 5 exercise rehabilitation background or equivalent experience.
* Competency in musculo‑skeletal injury rehabilitation.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
* Commitment to multidisciplinary patient care.
