Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
Warehouse Administration:
1. Accurately process orders, deliveries, and dispatch paperwork.
2. Maintain and update inventory management systems to ensure stock accuracy.
3. Compile and analyse data for stock movements, wastage, and returns.
4. Generate reports for warehouse performance and stock levels.
Material Handling:
5. Ensure all forklift operations are carried out in accordance with safety procedures.
Health & Safety Administration:
6. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
7. Maintain records of safety checks, risk assessments, and incident reports.
8. Support safety audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
General Duties:
9. Support the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations.
10. Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to coordinate deliveries and collections.
11. Uphold hygiene and quality standards in line with food handling regulations
Skills & Abilities:
12. High level of numeracy and accuracy in data handling.
13. Strong computer literacy, with experience in MS Office and warehouse management systems.
14. strong organisational and time management skills.
15. good communication and teamwork abilities.
Education & Experience:
16. Knowledge of food handling and storage requirements
17. First Aid training (Desirable)
18. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably within the food industry. (Desirable)
19. Experience with Health & Safety administration and compliance. (Desirable)
