Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher Implement lesson plans provided by the school or create own lesson plans when necessary Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues that arise Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Prior experience working as a teacher in a school setting Experience adapting to different teaching styles and classroom environments Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning Good organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in special education or teaching English as a second language Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of schools Working Conditions: Work in different schools within the Altrincham area Adhere to school policies and procedures Flexible schedule based on school needs All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
