Salary: £28,000 - 35,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in a 2nd or 3rd line IT support role Experience with Windows Server and desktop environments Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Networking knowledge Knowledge of virtualisation Understanding of cybersecurity best practices Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments is desirable Familiarity with ERP or production systems is desirable Relevant IT certifications, such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco, are desirable Degree or equivalent experience in IT or a related field is desirable Responsibilities: Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for hardware, software, and network issues Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents from 1st line support Support and maintain servers, networks, and core infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime for systems that support manufacturing and production Manage and support user accounts, permissions, and security Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and the knowledge base Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and implementations Monitor system performance and proactively identify improvements Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams Liaise with third-party vendors and support providers Technologies: Active Directory Cisco ERP Hardware Support Microsoft 365 Network Office 365 Security Windows More: We are a manufacturing business based in Leyland, Preston, and this is an office-based role working Monday to Friday.
