An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated Senior Staff Nurse to join our team in the Combined Assessment Unit, Belford Hospital, Fort William (17 assessment beds, 2 general enhanced care beds, 10 day surgery beds, pre-assessment clinic 6 days). Primarily in CAU with development opportunities in EC, Day Case Unit and Pre-assesment Department.
Two years post-registration experience at band 5 in an acute care area is essential for this post. High dependency and AEC experience desirable.
The Belford Hospital is situated in Fort William in Lochaber, the Outdoor Capital of the UK. The area is one of outstanding beauty offering opportunities for water sports, mountaineering and snow sports. Fort William itself lies at the head of Loch Linnhe and at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest and most popular mountain in the British Isles with Glasgow, Inverness and Stirling all within a 2 hour drive.
