Field Service Engineer (Forklifts)
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: £35,000–£39,000 (OTE £45,000+) – Paid Door-to-Door
Hours: Mon–Fri, 08:00–17:00 + Overtime (1.5x)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
Join a leading material handling company as a Mobile Forklift Engineer. You’ll diagnose faults, service, and repair forklift and plant machinery at customer sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities
9. Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical faults on forklifts and plant equipment
10. Perform servicing and emergency breakdown repairs
11. Work independently at customer sites and maintain accurate documentation
12. Travel to various locations for repairs and maintenance
Requirements
13. Experience in forklift or plant machinery repair (essential)
14. Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
15. Familiarity with engines and batteries
16. NVQ/City & Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
17. Full UK driving licence
