1. Play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant and well-presented campus environment
2. Carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs, small works and minor redecoration
3. Support statutory compliance checks, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, water temperatures and lifts
4. Complete meter readings (water, gas, electric, oil, biomass and PV) and report findings as required
5. Respond to service requests via the Estates Service Desk and Residential Support team
6. Assist with sustainability data requests and act as a first responder to consumption queries
7. Identify, report and where appropriate resolve issues impacting campus operation, safety or appearance
About You
8. Hold a full UK driving licence
9. Have experience using hand-held tools and carrying out general maintenance and repairs
10. Demonstrate a basic understanding of plumbing and electrics
11. Safely use machinery and equipment and follow health and safety procedures
12. Communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and stakeholders
13. Take a flexible and proactive approach to work across a busy campus environment
14. Are able to work under pressure and respond effectively to reactive tasks
