Job Title: Mentor
Location: Waterloo Lodge School, Chorley, Lancashire, PR6 7AX
Salary: £23,690.47 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Start Date: October 2025
We are looking for an experienced Learning Mentor to join our fantastic team at Waterloo Lodge School as a Learning Mentor, you will deliver mentoring support to pupils according to their educational needs, in a way that maximises pupil’s achievement and ability to develop.
About The Role
This is a great opportunity for a Learning Mentor who wants to develop creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, working with pupils who require extra support with learning, in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
We are looking for a Learning Mentor, able to support and motivate some of our most troubled and reluctant learners. You will work closely with our Teachers, helping us in our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
