Overview
The role provides outstanding enhanced care to patients who require additional nursing and emotional support, often within a high‑stress environment. The main duties include spending significant periods of time with patients, delivering physical, emotional and psychological care on a 1‑to‑1 basis.
Responsibilities
* Spend significant periods of time with patients to provide physical, emotional and psychological care, typically on a 1‑to‑1 basis.
* Manage challenging patient behaviours with confidence and competence, using training provided.
* Work flexibly across all Trust locations to meet service demands.
Qualifications & Requirements
* May require a DBS check; repayment of the cost of obtaining a DBS check will be deducted from salary on appointment.
* Vaccination against COVID‑19 encouraged but not mandatory.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
