About the Role
We are seeking two reliable, trustworthy, and proactive live-in caretakers (preferably a couple or two ladies) to join us in managing and maintaining our large country house and estate. This is a hands-on role combining housekeeping, cleaning, and caretaking duties with occasional support for events and guest changeovers.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning & Housekeeping
* Daily cleaning and upkeep of the villa (8 ensuite bedrooms, reception rooms, kitchen, communal spaces).
* Laundry, bed making, linen management, ironing.
* Deep cleaning after guest stays/events.
* Ensuring the property is always presented to "hotel-ready" standards.
* Caretaking & General Duties
* Supporting with check-ins/check-outs when required.
* Monitoring supplies (cleaning products, toiletries, linens) and restocking as needed.
* Reporting maintenance issues promptly.
* Assisting with setting up for weddings/events (moving furniture, light décor help).
* Occasional errands/shopping.
Requirements
* Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or caretaking (hospitality/event venue experience desirable).
* Strong attention to detail with pride in high standards.
* Flexible, "can-do" attitude and ability to work weekends/events when required.
* Trustworthy, discreet, and comfortable working in a family home/guest environment.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
* Driver's licence preferred but not essential.
