Technical Implementation Consultant, Healthcare Informatics
Job Description
As a Technical Implementation Specialist (TIS), you will have the opportunity to implement Philips’ Healthcare Informatics Systems (HCIS) solutions, including Philips’ Radiology Information System (RIS) and third-party system integrations.
The responsibilities include technical qualification, local implementation, integration, training, and support of Philips’ RIS solutions. Deliverables should meet or exceed customer expectations while adhering to business and technical specifications. The role ensures solutions are supportable by Philips’/Carestream services teams. Additional duties may involve pre- and post-sales support.
This role requires capacity to travel, work autonomously, and participate in on-call/extended hours support rotations. It is primarily remote (working from home), with onsite visits as needed.
Your Role
Implementation activities:
* Deliver controlled implementation of HCIS projects following Philips’ quality standards.
* Provide technical advice on software and hardware upgrades to various teams and customers.
* Handle technical components of HCIS project installations, upgrades, and maintenance from start to finish.
* Participate in training to enhance technical and application skills.
* Collaborate with R&D to improve solutions.
Customer Focused Activities
Improve customer satisfaction by providing valuable solutions aligned with Philips’ quality standards.
Gain knowledge of customer environments, current and desired workflows within the assigned geography.
Team Working Activities
During implementation, liaise with Project Managers, Customers, technical teams, application consultants, and third-party suppliers to facilitate delivery and scheduling.
Meet with HCIS services and sales teams to provide customer feedback, assist with project planning, and align schedules.
You're The Right Fit If You Have
* Experience in a technical role involving server-level implementation, support, or similar.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
* Experience with SQL and database systems, preferably Oracle.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
* Experience working in production environments against SLAs.
* Understanding of applications, networks, and web technologies.
* Knowledge of security technologies and practices.
* Experience with storage platforms (RAID, SAN, NAS, tape libraries).
* Knowledge of high availability technologies (Hypervisor, OS, Veritas, Oracle).
* Experience in hospital environments and radiological workflows, including RIS and PACS, is desirable.
* Knowledge of .NET, C++, Java programming languages.
* Experience with Hypervisors like VMware, HyperV.
* Valid UK driving license.
