Our signs department has built up a successful customer base primarily supplying permanent and temporary road traffic signs, along with street nameplates and various other types of signs.
The ideal candidate would be experienced in all types of sign manufacture, particularly road traffic signs. Ideally having experience of working in a similar role and environment and have a good working knowledge of sign making design software (preferably Spandex Gerber Omega trained), use of Buchanan Signplot software would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be based at Murrill Signs Unit in Greenford Depot.
Duties
- Produce high quality work using:
* Plotters
* Thermal printer
* Cut substrate
- Prepare, cut and apply vinyl to metal and foamboard substrates.
- Complete worksheets including quality checking and sign off completed jobs.
- Routine maintenance of machinery.
About you
- Reliable and tidy with good time keeping and a strong work ethic.
- Able to manage own workload and prioritise jobs.
- Flexible, enthusiastic, organised and able to work alone as well as part of a small team.
- Able to interpret written instructions from requests and worksheets with a good understanding of sign making techniques.
- Work competently with power tools.
- Have an understanding of the importance of Health & Safety.
- Have clear communication with colleagues and customers.
