Responsibilities: We implement and manage customer cloud and infrastructure across on-premise, co-location, and cloud environments. We lead the deployment of new infrastructure and oversee ongoing maintenance and performance optimisation for efficiency and reliability. We collaborate closely with Network, End User, and Security teams to ensure customer solutions fit within the wider technical landscape. We work with the Technical Architect (Cloud) and Pre-Sales teams to understand technical designs and implement solutions. We produce high-quality pre-installation and post-installation documentation. We work with Project Managers to ensure solutions are delivered on time and on budget. We ensure customer infrastructures are onboarded effectively, with robust documentation, monitoring thresholds, alerting, and patch schedules. We diagnose and resolve faults escalated from 1st or 2nd Line teams. We carry out proactive problem management to improve stability and efficiency across customer infrastructure. We provide knowledge transfer to 1st and 2nd Line teams to support internal development and upskilling. We produce technical reports for the Cloud & Infrastructure Manager as required. We attend customer sites where necessary. We carry out any other duties reasonably required by our line manager.
