Engineering TechnicianJob Description:To support Design Engineers in all aspects of the design, characterisation and release of RF & Microwave ComponentsMain Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform prototype and pre-production testing of RF & Microwave components.
* Perform temperature testing on RF and Microwave components.
* Accurately record, document, and file, test results for internal and customer use.
* Maintain the Engineering lab, consumable purchases and repairs, and general lab tidiness.
* Assist in New Product Introduction and other engineering queries.
* Source materials for new designs.
Key Competencies Required:
* Good understanding and working knowledge of RF test equipment such as Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, and Generators is essential.
* Good understanding of RF concepts
* Good soldering skills
* Computer literate
* Good planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise
* Deadline and detail oriented
* Good interpersonal and communications skills
* Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications:
* Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
* 3 years of experience in industry
