Salary: £18 - £19 gross per hour on weekdays & £19 gross per hour at weekends
Description
A Support Worker is required for a family in Burghclere, Hampshire (RG20) with 3 children, twins aged 12 years & 13 year old. The position is assisting with the 13 year old daughter who has mild cerebral palsy.
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £18 – £19 gross per hour on weekdays & £19 gross per hour at weekends
Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:00 am – 10:00 am & 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm with occasional support on Saturdays & evening babysitting. Could also offer 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays if candidate wants more hours.
Duties:
* Helping daughter get ready for school & give breakfast, get ready for bed & personal care
* Taking twins to school/collect from school
* Putting uniforms out
* Helping with homework & giving dinner
* Helping with afterschool activities – crafts/afterschool clubs
* Light housekeeping
* Cooking for the children & batch cooking for the freezer
* General administration – managing the diary/rota etc
You must:
* Have previous experience as a Support Worker with checkable references to support your application
* Have an Enhanced DBS certificate or be happy to have one done
* Be an enabler to help with independence
* Be a driver with own car
* Be able to cook & follow recipes
* Like pets
* Have a good level of English
