Regional Director Low Carbon Energy Infrastructure Newcastle/North East
Does the idea of a city powered by low-carbon energy fill you with hope for the future? Are you driven by a desire to make positive change happen in your local community, rather than watch while other people do it? Are you able to draw upon a career within infrastructure development, and a track record of partnership with local authorities and public sector bodies? Then pull up a seat – we need to talk.
The role
We are seeking to appoint a Regional Director to oversee the regional growth and development of a national low carbon energy business. Working hand in hand with local councils, our clients city-scale energy infrastructure schemes provide low carbon energy to homes, businesses, schools, hospitals and more. As the head of all regional activity, you will oversee the P&L for the region, which includes energy assets already in operation, and will be responsible for the businesses growth across the North East. In return, you’ll receive a salary and package commensurate with a director level role in a national business.
A bit about you
You have a track record in bringing large scale infrastructure projects into reality, and have a keen understanding of the end to end lifecycle of infrastructure project development. You might come from a front end leadership role within development or Work-Winning, or perhaps an operational leadership position with a reputable infrastructure player. Either way, you are a natural relationship builder, and an expert in identifying opportunities to build upon existing infrastructure, and tendering for new projects. You’ll start off with a small team, and will grasp hold of the opportunity to grow into a regional powerhouse.
The Client
National leader in low carbon energy infrastructure, with a project portfolio to back up the claim. A business lead by industry experts, with the financial backing to deliver on their growth plans. Interested? We’d love to hear from you. If you have a CV ready to go, that’s great, please upload it as part of the LinkedIn application. We also recognise that you may not be actively looking, and therefore might not have a CV prepared. Don’t let that stop you. Drop us a message over LinkedIn and we can arrange a conversation.
