Maintenance Engineer\n\nOur client are a leading manufacturer of high-tech products used in a wide range of industries, as part of their continued growth they are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be highly valued.\n\nSalary: £40,500 - £47,250\n\nHours: 4 on 4 off continental shift (2 days, 2 nights)\n\nLocation: Towcester\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerform routine preventative maintenance on associated equipment, minimising downtime and process interruption.\nAssist in exhaust filter and system changes, as well as gas cylinder replacements.\nCarry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) - training provided.\nManage chemicals, gases, and spare parts, including deliveries, waste management, and chemical fills.\nAssist in the repair and maintenance of processing and ancillary equipment.\nSupport Engineers with project work and take ownership of projects when qualified.\nCarry out a variety of duties independently following documented procedures.\nAssist with logistical tasks, such as equipment relocation and cleanroom reorganisation.\nPromote teamwork and collaboration across all areas. \n\nRequirements & Competencies:\n\nPrevious experience in Maintenance or Engineering roles, preferably in a high-tech / high precision industry.\nKnowledge of pneumatic, gas, vacuum, electro-mechanical, and automation systems.\nBasic understanding of electrical safety.\nWillingness to work overtime during shutdowns/major maintenance.\nGood communication skills - fluency in written and spoken English.\nComputer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
