Job Description Job Title: Shipbuilder Integration Engineer - Submarines Working Pattern: 37 hours (days) Working location: Derby (Raynesway) An exciting opportunity for a Shipbuilder Integration Engineer role has arisen within the New Build and Components business, in Nuclear (Submarines). The Shipbuilder Integration Team is looking to recruit an enthusiastic engineer to support the Dreadnought programme as the project progresses through the build and commissioning phases. The team's role is to provide technical leadership on a wide range of challenging propulsion plant integration activities by providing direction and focus for the Derby based engineering teams.
You will act as the Rolls-Royce representative in meeting with BAE Systems and MoD and get exposure to the Dreadnought Chief Engineering Team through involvement in key engineering challenges. What you will be doing With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following: Lead a range of integration activities across the design, build and commissioning phases. Support engineering teams across the Submarines Business, influencing design solutions and resolving complex engineering challenges across the interface.
