BOM Administrator, Hull

We have an opening for a Bill of Materials (BOM) Administrator within our Technical team. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment, develop product knowledge, and explore key areas of our business.
Job Purpose:
* Ensure the accuracy of data and product costings by working closely with teams such as Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement.
* Manage ongoing product data within Willerby's in-house system.
* Contribute to new product setup and onboarding processes.
* Support Product Design Managers during new product introductions.
* Assist in cost reduction initiatives and improve current product quality.
* Support customers and internal departments with necessary documentation and support.
* Enhance business systems and enforce rigorous control of the current bill of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create BOMs and options for new products.
* Process change requests to master data, ensuring correct materials are ordered.
* Ensure accurate pricing of options and finished goods.
* Assist in VAT pricing file production to ensure compliance.
* Attend production readiness meetings to review BOM accuracy and address late concessions/changes.
* Maintain data accuracy within BOM change management and option validation systems.
* Monitor costs and manufacturing times, supporting production planning.
* Assist Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply teams with late option requests and concessions.
* Perform various ad hoc tasks as needed.
Key Requirements, Skills, and Attributes:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
* Proficient in IT, especially Excel and Word.
* Excellent time management and project prioritization skills.
* Goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail is crucial.
