Job Title: Quality Engineer / Product Assurance Engineer
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (flexible start/finish options available)
Work From Home: 1 day per week (subject to business needs)
An established international engineering company is seeking a Quality Engineer / Product Assurance Engineer to join its Quality team based in High Wycombe.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organisation offering a varied and hands-on role in product and process quality assurance, supporting global sourcing, product development, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investigate and resolve product quality issues with customers and suppliers
* Manage and update the quarantine register and related actions
* Raise and follow up on customer and supplier quality claims
* Review technical drawings and coordinate the drawing approval process
* Coordinate product testing and manage the sample approval process
* Support APQP activities including feasibility assessments and contract reviews
* Prepare and maintain PPAP and FAIR documentation
* Attend and contribute to global quality meetings
* Support recruitment and training of quality personnel
* Coordinate inspection activities across the group
* Maintain product approval and drawing registers
* Host customer visits and support quality-related enquiries
Key Skills & Experience:
* Technical knowledge of metal products and measuring equipment (preferred)
* Experience with quality tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa/Fishbone Diagrams
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Experience using CAD software (preferred)
* Excellent attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving mindset
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
* Full UK Driving Licence required
