Overview
HGV Technician - Communities - Fleet, Bridgend County Borough Council. 37 hours per week. Based in Bridgend, working with the Councils Fleet of up to 350 vehicles.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair vehicles and council equipment in a busy workshop using state of the art diagnostic equipment.
* Work in a collaborative team to support colleagues serving communities.
Qualifications
* Qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician with a minimum of NVQ Level 3.
* Good understanding of a workshop environment and familiarity with workshop tools and PPE supplied on starting.
* Driving licence Category C.
Requirements
* State of the art diagnostic equipment to repair all aspects of vehicles.
* Health Surveillance assessment through Occupational Health Service.
* Police Vetting check by South Wales Police.
* Zero Carbon vision training offered.
Working hours
07:00 - 17:00. No weekend work unless paid as overtime.
