Creative Support is a national, fast-growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently seeking highly motivated Relief Support Workers to join our friendly team in Alvaston, Derby.
About the Role
We are looking for respectful, warm, and enthusiastic individuals to work in our Alvaston service, developed to support individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. Some individuals may also have additional complex physical, health, or social needs. We offer an empowering support model that helps people lead fulfilling lives, maintain tenancies, participate in their communities, develop independence, and achieve personal goals. As a Support Worker, you will also have the opportunity to act as a Key Worker, supporting individuals to achieve their dreams and ambitions.
Support Worker Duties
1. Providing personal care to service users
2. Lone working
3. Administering medication
4. Developing trusting relationships with service users
5. Carrying out administrative and housing management tasks
6. Supporting with domestic duties
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs is essential. Compensation is on a weekly basis.
