Finance & Business Manager Mayfair | £40,000–£60,000 DOE | 4 days office / 1 day WFH A boutique UHNW wealth management firm in Mayfair is looking to appoint a Finance & Business Manager to take ownership of a broad and commercially meaningful remit across finance, business operations, governance, and risk oversight. This is an ideal role for someone with an accounting qualification who enjoys working beyond pure number-crunching — someone who wants to influence how a business runs, manages risk, controls costs, and supports leadership decision-making. The Role You will act as a central operational pillar of the business, responsible for: Finance Reviewing monthly/quarterly management accounts Preparing financial forecasts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow) Managing the annual audit and statutory accounts Overseeing VAT & CT return review Payroll, expenses, client invoicing and supplier invoice management Driving process improvements across finance Risk & Regulatory Oversight Managing the business risk register Leading the annual risk assessment Monthly regulatory reporting & FCA attestations ICARA oversight (including wind-down planning) Business Management & Governance Preparing board packs, agendas and meeting minutes Companies House filings & statutory company registers HMRC submissions, AEOI, EMI Supplier management, contract review and commercial cost control LEI renewals Management Information Building, maintaining and enhancing MI across finance and risk Delivering accurate reporting for senior leadership What They’re Looking For Accounting qualification essential — CIMA preferred ACCA considered, though CIMA is better aligned to the remit Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage contracts/costs Experience with Xero (essential) and strong Excel capability Background in a regulated environment (not necessarily financial planning) A proactive self-starter comfortable owning a broad, varied workload Full-time role: 4 days in the Mayfair office, 1 day WFH Why This Role?
