Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Learning Assistant - Performing Arts with Technical Theatre experience.

Edinburgh College are seeking a Learning Assistant to join the School of Performing Arts and Photography within the Creative Industries Faculty. The postholder will have experience of technical theatre and working in a fast-paced working environment. They must have the ability to multi task and work on their own initiative, whilst being able to work with other teams across the College.
The primary function of a Learning assistant is to support the work of Lecturers in ensuring that learners receive high quality support and their individual requirements are met. Learning Assistants also ensure that the learning environment, including materials and equipment, is effectively maintained. This post requires technical theatre skills (principally lighting and sound) and the ability to provide technical support for both student and other theatre performances and events and support the wider PASS course teams.
Please note, due to the nature of this post there will be times when you may need to work weekends and evenings, to support some weekend and evening hiring of facilities and events. Therefore, the post does afford flexible working patterns.
