Position: Container Manager
Contract Type: Permanent – 40 hours

What you'll do:
To facilitate the movement and provision of containers for both mail & parcels to service customers and DHL sites.
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Reporting and interaction with sites on stock levels
* Interaction with both the mail & parcel representatives on requirements for customers and sites.
* Updating plans and cascading out to the business for movement of containers
* Interaction with Royal Mail Wholesale on plans for bulk deliveries of tray stocks.
* National Audits and subsequent preparation and cascsading of results both internally and externally to Royal Mail Wholesale.
* Interaction with our chosen repairers for containers to include budget control and raising of PO. Providing monthly update on budget spends.
* Interaction with departments within the business on the requisition of bespoke containers as and when required.
* Management and interaction with Royal Mail Wholesale on the return of damaged containers owned by them and subsequent correspondence as and when required.

What We're Looking For
* Good level of maths, excel and word doc
* Good clear communicator both written & verbal
* Operational /logistic background knowledge – end to end pipeline
* Able to manage external suppliers and negoiate on cost/deadlines
* Budget management and timelines
* Ability to refer to policy documents and provide guidance in relation to external contacts
* Capability to work independantly and prioritise/organise
* Capability to attend meetings with internal colleagues/ customers ( High value) and interact appropriately
