As a Technical Sales Engineer at Honeywell, in the NorthWest and Midlands region, you will work closely with the field service team and customers to understand their needs, share knowledge about Honeywell solutions to improve efficiency, and focus on complex reactive quotations to ensure technically compliant proposals are provided. This is a field-based role requiring travel to customer sites or Honeywell offices in the region.

Key responsibilities:
1. Conduct customer site surveys, support customers, verify information, prepare estimates, follow up, and proactively seek sales opportunities.
2. Apply technical knowledge of Fire systems throughout project stages to meet customer needs and ensure compliance.
3. Assist Field Service Professionals and Supervisors with proposal generation for medium-high complex opportunities and support field engineering teams to complete required works.
4. Send proposals to customers, follow up for feedback and approval, and maintain contact throughout the project cycle, including post-completion financials and invoicing.
5. Build and maintain customer relationships to enhance customer experience, achieve revenue and margin targets, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key skills and qualifications:
1. Experience in building technologies, particularly Fire systems service, maintenance, and installation/commissioning.
2. Technical knowledge of Fire Systems, preferably Honeywell products.
3. Experience in creating technical quotes/proposals and securing business.
4. Excellent communication skills at all levels, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
5. Commercial awareness and experience operating in financially motivated environments.
