Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer - Nuclear Assurance with a background in the nuclear sector to be engaged on a permanent basis in Barrow-in-Furness on a hybrid working basis.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Carrying out verification and compliance activities to ensure adherence to Authorisation Conditions and internal arrangements.
* Maintaining compliance documentation including the Compliance Matrix, Verification Plans, and contributing to reporting dashboards.
* Supporting the regulatory interface and assisting with internal and external inspection programmes.
* Collaborating with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Test & Commissioning teams to deliver robust compliance outcomes.
About You:
* Experience in nuclear regulation or nuclear compliance.
* Background in a highly regulated industry such as nuclear, oil & gas, defence, or aerospace.
* Previous experience within Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Product Assurance.
* Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining compliance and safety standards.
