Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach/Kick-Boxing Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing athletes of all ages and skill levels. As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while helping athletes improve their skills and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
* Educate athletes on the rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport.
* Conduct regular practice sessions to enhance performance and teamwork.
* Monitor athlete progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Organise and lead competitive events, ensuring a safe and fair environment.
* Foster a positive team culture that encourages participation, effort, and respect.
* Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding training schedules, progress updates, and any concerns.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sports coaching or related fields.
* Strong knowledge of the sport being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
* Ability to educate athletes on both technical skills and the importance of sportsmanship.
* First Aid certification is preferred but not essential.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development in coaching methodologies.
