Location: Launceston/Camelford/Callington and Gunnislake-East Cornwall
Salary: £12.21 – £14.96 per hour
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible hours available
About The Role
We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers and Care Assistants to join our growing team in East Cornwall.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities, or complex care needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person‑centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
* Work within residential care homes as well as supported living accommodation
* Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication
* Promote independence, dignity, and choice
* Support individuals in accessing the community and engaging in social activities
* Maintain accurate records and work in line with care plans
* Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
What We’re Looking For
* A caring and empathetic nature
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience in care and support roles is essential
* Flexibility to work various shifts including some weekends, evenings, or sleep‑ins (if required)
