About the Role- Competitive salary- Performance-based bonus scheme- Permanent position- Standard working hours- Comprehensive benefits package including health and wellness programmes- Career development opportunities- Collaborative and innovative work environmentDuties/Responsibilities- Manage incoming enquiries, assess, and prioritise business-appropriate tender opportunities- Develop bid/win strategies tailored to client requirements- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to prepare cost studies for internal review- Liaise with technical, operations, and commercial teams to identify risks and agree on mitigation strategies- Write and present tender offers to clients- Engage in client interactions and tender negotiations from enquiry receipt to contract award- Maintain and update the Salesforce CRM database- Assist the Projects Division Business Development Manager in identifying future clients and major project opportunitiesAbout you- Relevant civil engineering degree or geotechnical engineering bias, with professional qualification status preferred- Integrity and professionalism in all duties- Commitment to health, safety, well-being, and environmental sustainability- Significant experience in the UK geotechnical industry- Understanding of the geotechnical design process and estimating geotechnical engineering solutions- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Proven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team- Effective time management and attention to detail- Proficient in IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Salesforce; knowledge of Primavera P6 and Candy is advantageous- Full UK driving licenceTo apply for the position, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
