Agricultural/Rural Property Lawyer 4+ PQE up to Partner
£65,000 - £six figures + bonus share
Taunton or Dorset based with flexibility
Build a leading agricultural practice with one of the South West’s top law firms.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious Agricultural & Rural Property Lawyer to join a firm with an outstanding regional reputation, a busy and established client base, and genuine long-term growth plans already underway.
The firm is employee focused, to the extent they offer a firm-wide profit share scheme. It is highly respected across the South West, investing heavily in the future of its rural offering.
This will suit someone who wants more than just a caseload — someone keen to help shape and grow an agricultural practice in Dorset or Somerset.
You will step into a strong flow of high-quality transactional work from day one, advising on a broad range of agricultural and rural property matters, while also being given the autonomy and support to develop your own profile and client relationships.
The team will consider anyone 4+ PQE looking for a clearer progression path, or a more Senior Lawyer ready for leadership, or an existing Partner seeking a more entrepreneurial platform, the firm is open-minded and flexible for the right individual.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll advise on a broad range of agricultural and rural property transactions for high end wealthy landowners, estates, farming businesses, and rural clients across the region.
The work is varied, high-quality, and commercially focused, with plenty of opportunity to become a key figure within the wider rural practice.
Alongside handling a busy caseload, you’ll have the chance to play a meaningful role in the continued growth and development of the team in your chosen location.
What you’ll need
* 4+ years’ PQE in agricultural/rural property or commercial property with rural exposure.
* Strong transactional experience A commercial and relationship-led approach.
* Ambition to progress and help grow a practice Interest in being part of a collaborative and growing employee-owned firm.
