The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our KS2 team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a curious, motivated class and play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition into upper Key Stage 2 and beyond.
The successful candidate will deliver inspiring lessons, foster a positive classroom environment, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent outcomes for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
* Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
* Establish clear expectations for behaviour and learning
* Work in partnership with colleagues, parents, and support staff
* Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in KS2 (ECTs welcome to apply)
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A positive, reflective approach to teaching and learning
