Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) role at NHS Scotland. This post is in Argyll and Bute HSCP, Cowal and Bute, Community Mental Health Service. 22.2 hours per week. Band 7. Permanent.

Responsibilities
The post holder will be aligned with the Cowal and Bute Community Mental Health Teams and may be required to provide a service across Argyll and Bute depending on service need. You will be enthusiastic about multidisciplinary working and experienced in managing a caseload. Clinical expertise in mental health through relevant experience and knowledge of current national policies is essential. You will be confident in the assessment and treatment of complex cases. You should be comfortable with a blended intervention model utilizing virtual clinics as well as face-to-face contact. Travel between locations within Argyll and Bute may be required as part of new ways of working to ensure rural populations are not disadvantaged.
Qualifications
Applicants must be qualified to at least Diploma level in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, be accredited or working towards accreditation with BABCP, have a relevant Master’s Degree (candidates from different professional backgrounds – Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work – may apply). Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Applications are welcomed from those who want to work flexibly with a hybrid model of remote and on-site working. A potential relocation package may be available.
