Salary: £50,000 pa – £60,000 pa + car allowance

Our ERP system manages the full qualification lifecycle, from registration to certification, and we’re scaling fast. You won’t be a tiny cog lost in a 200‑dev machine. You’ll be hands‑on and making a tangible difference.
About You
In this role, you’ll work across the full stack to build secure, scalable, beautifully designed features for thousands of end‑users, including:
* New Rails modules, member portals, workflow automations and AI‑powered tools
* Payment integrations, secure authentication and high‑performance web apps
* UX improvements that make complex processes feel effortless
* Custom workflows for awarding bodies (moderation, QA, audit trails, etc.)
* Database optimisation and performance (MySQL/MariaDB)
* Secure development aligned with ISO 27001 & GDPR
Qualifications & Skills
* 3+ years’ experience as a full‑stack Rails developer
* Strong Rails fundamentals + front‑end skills (Bootstrap, JS, Turbo/Stimulus)
* Experience integrating APIs and building secure, scalable applications
* Excellent communication skills
* A drive to keep learning, improving and pushing the tech forward
* Bonus points if you’ve worked in Ed Tech, awarding bodies, ISO frameworks or Asana
