Head Chef Required for a Hotel with Rosette Restaurant
Located within driving distance of Newcastle, this hotel offers high-quality food and is seeking a head chef to lead the kitchen team. The role offers a basic salary of up to £45,000 plus tips/service of around £3,000. For those relocating, short-term live-in accommodation can be arranged.
The Role
As a head chef, you will oversee the entire kitchen operation, work closely with suppliers to ensure the best produce, develop your team of chefs and kitchen porters, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. During service, you will run a section and assist where needed. The role encompasses all typical head chef responsibilities.
Experience and Skills
We are looking for a head chef with a background in rosette and fresh food cuisine. You should be organized and capable of efficiently running a busy kitchen.
