Job Description:
The Governing Body wishes to appoint a 0.7 FTE teacher to join the small, dedicated team at our school. This is a fixed-term position until 31 August 2026.
The successful candidate will meet the criteria of the job description and in addition:
Be an effective Early Years/Foundation Phase practitioner with a good understanding of the development of children’s learning and progression.
Have an understanding of teaching mixed age classes.
Have effective classroom management strategies to implement the school’s Positive Behaviour Policy.
Have an understanding of Emotion Coaching and Attachment principles i.e. being kind, caring and patient (or be willing to learn).
The ability to work as part of a small team.
Be able to teach Welsh as a second language to a good standard.
Have an understanding of Christian values linked to a Church School
Closing date: 12 June 2025 Shortlisting will be done on 16 June.
The Governing Body will contact identified candidates to attend school on 23 June for lesson observations, tasks and interview.
