Our mission is to deliver FREE hand care to NHS nurses and midwives via our ‘Nursem Promise’ — for every product sold, we give a month's worth of Nursem to a healthcare professional. To date, we've delivered over 655,000 Promises!
We aim to become a household brand within 2-3 years, and are seeking an Omnichannel Operations Manager to join our team.

THE ROLE – Operations Manager (Salary: £40k - £50k FT + Performance Bonus + Share Options)
Location: Remote (UK Only)
If based outside NE England, attendance at our Gosforth, Newcastle head office is required at least once a month, with occasional travel.
This role is ideal for someone wanting to build and shape our operational team and grow into a senior leadership role within a fast-growing consumer brand.
As we expand across online marketplaces, retail stores, and distribution partnerships, we need an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our omnichannel operations, improve efficiency, and ensure process excellence.
The Operations Manager will collaborate with the team and external supply chain partners, managing everything from design, supply, warehousing, fulfillment, to delivery. You will ensure manufacturing, fulfillment, and warehousing operations are optimized, scalable, and deliver excellence daily. Flexibility, pragmatism, and a can-do attitude are essential as the business evolves rapidly.
Experience in scaling businesses and establishing processes for growth stages is crucial.
PREFERABLE EXPERIENCE:
* 3-5 years in operations for a fast-growing DTC & Retail brand
* Proficiency with Mintsoft, Unleashed, and Shopify
* Knowledge of PIM and retail supply systems
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* On-Shelf Availability: Maintain +98% availability of core SKUs for key accounts year-round.
* B2B Supply & Logistics: Manage relationships with 3PL partners, monitor KPIs, drive improvements, and oversee inbound orders, fulfillment, and invoicing.
* B2C Supply & Logistics: Manage daily relationships with 3PL, ensuring service levels and profitability.
* Manufacturing & Supply: Lead manufacturing partnerships, sourcing, and production scheduling. Manage demand planning and liaise with partners for smooth supply.
* New Product Introductions: Oversee new product launches into supply chains.
* Master Data Management: Ensure accurate product information sharing with team and suppliers.
* International Expansion: Support development of international supply chain and compliance as Nursem grows outside the UK.
* Systems & Software: Manage inventory and purchasing systems like Unleashed.
* Sales & Operations Planning: Oversee demand forecasting and supply planning with relevant teams.
* Administrative Support: Maintain administrative tasks like monthly tracking of the Nursem Promise, end-of-month reporting, and invoice chasing.
* KPIs Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report operational KPIs and business performance metrics.
* Team Culture & Support: Foster a positive company culture and support team development.
