Position Details
* Title: Senior Occupational Therapist
* Location: South West Locality Office
* Salary: £44,257 - £52,373
* Hours: 27 per week
* Work Arrangement: Flexible hours, with hybrid working available

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage several Occupational Therapists and Community Care Assistants in North East Edinburgh.
* Work closely with another Senior Occupational Therapist and Senior Social Workers to screen, prioritise, and allocate work.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree/diploma or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experience working in a community setting.
* Understanding of legal frameworks, including Adult Support and Protection, and statutory responsibilities of the Local Authority.
* Energetic, imaginative, creative, resilient, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Additional Requirements
This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will need to join or update the PVG Scheme and provide necessary checks. Overseas Criminal Record Checks are required if applicable. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory pre-employment checks.
