What you’ll do on a typical day:
Supporting the weekly and monthly payroll cycles, including overtime, absence, sickness, and holiday data
* Preparing, maintaining, and reconciling payroll and HR data to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Assisting with payroll checks, audits, and post-payroll queries, escalating where required
* Maintaining employee records across HRIS and Time & Attendance systems
* Using Excel extensively to manage trackers, reconciliations, pivot tables, and dashboards
* Managing general department administration and filing
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Strong administrative experience (HR, payroll support, data or similar)
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data validation)
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
* Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
