Job Description
General purpose of role:
A lead generator is a calling role who is tasked with identifying and qualifying opportunities for the business through outbound calling.
Key Accountabilities:
* Research leads generated by the networkers that have been placed on the database.
* Make telephone contact with these leads to qualify, and if appropriate make appointments for the sales team.
* Manage the future prospect bank by keeping the database up to date.
* Ensure that the architecture of the database is updated and observed.
* Put appointment packs together in the Area Sq format for the sales team prior to client visits.
* Build relationships with the networkers and sales teams to gain feedback post appointments, and update the database with notes and diarise any future actions.
* Attend weekly internal review meetings to discuss ‘hot lists’.
Professional Skills & Experience:
* Ability to build internal and external relationships, both face to face and remotely.
* Basic telesales training a must (open, investigate, qualify & close).
* Proven track record of making sales appointments.
* Database experience essential, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics.
* Microsoft Office.
* Excellent telephone manner.
