We are seeking a highly experienced Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in KS2. This is a part-time, fixed term contract attached to the child and is only available whilst the child remains at Prae Wood School. (17 hours 30 mins a week across 5 mornings 8.45am - 12.15pm.) Applicants should: be experienced, nurturing, patient and enthusiastic; be confident liaising with outside agencies and able to follow and implement plans; be intuitive to the needs of the child and enthuse them to learn and develop; be able to communicate regularly with parents and the school SENDCO; be a person of integrity and warmth; be able to work collaboratively with others; be punctual and well organised; experienced at working & supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and a PDA profile.
