About the Role
HomeServe is recruiting directly employed Water Supply Pipe Engineers to join our team. As a Water Supply Pipe Engineer you will undertake the maintenance and repair work of water supply systems in our customers' homes, provide industry leading service and help us enhance our reputation while driving customer growth. To support you, you will undergo our extensive training programme.
Training Programme
* Week 1: Attend the Head Office in Walsall Monday‑Friday to cover HomeServe, health and safety and receive your tools and equipment.
* Week 2: Be buddy‑up with an experienced Water Supply Pipe Engineer.
* Accommodation and meal allowance may be provided where geographically appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
* Repair, lay and identify leaks on water mains.
* Maintain and repair water supply systems in customers' homes.
* Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
* Experience repairing, laying and identifying leaks on water mains.
* Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Proactive, 'can do' attitude.
* Keen eye for detail and problem‑solving skills.
Location & Working Hours
Location – Gloucester
* Full Time – 40 hours per week, includes some weekend, evening and bank holiday work.
Salary & Bonus
* £33,220 – £37,810 (salary dependent upon experience).
* £1,500 guaranteed bonus in the first year.
