This programme is built around 3 core elements:\n\n1.\tBusiness learning â on the job learning and experiences giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of the team and solution line you have joined \n\n2.\tCentralised learning - UK apprentices complete in an Aon Induction, monthly webinars, business skills training and workshops; all designed to help you develop your knowledge of Aon, build your confidence and your network across our business\n\n3.\tProfessional Qualifications â we want you to be as successful as possible, so weâll fully support your study towards your MA (Hons) Business Management for Financial Services Graduate Apprenticeship through Heriot-Watt University. To support you as you study for your exams, youâll receive paid study leave, plus an extensive range of study and tuition materials. \n\nThe objective of the 4-year degree is to develop general management knowledge and skills in the context of contemporary financial services organisations. The programme is structured so that essential foundational knowledge is provided in the early stages, and this can be built on during the learning that will take place in the workplace. The programme consists of 20% academic learning (one day per week) on campus or virtual, and 80% work-based learning at the Aon Glasgow office, with some exposure to the wider Aon office network. â¢\tSQA Highers at BBBB (over two sittings)\nâ¢\tA-Levels at BBC\nâ¢\tInternational Baccalaureate 29 points\nâ¢\tSQA HNC in a relevant subject (or a suitable Modern Apprenticeship) with B in the graded unit\nâ¢\tFoundation Apprenticeship in Business Skills in conjunction with other suitable qualifications, such as SQA Highers at BBB\nâ¢\tA combination of qualifications totalling 96 SCQF credits at level 6, or Minimum 108 UCAS points\n\nTo be eligible for this Graduate Apprenticeship, you must also meet the Scottish Governmentâs funding eligibility criteria which includes:\n\nâ¢\tCurrently residing in Scotland\nâ¢\tHave lived in the UK for at least three years prior to the course start date\nâ¢\tNot already hold a qualification at the same or higher level than the one being offered\n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nâ¢\tMotivation and ambition â you will need to be able to articulate why you want a career in commercial risk\nâ¢\tCommercial awareness â this helps us to provide support and advice to our clients with clarity and confidence\nâ¢\tPassion and curiosity - understand the value of and be passionate about delivering excellent Client Service \nâ¢\tStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style for different groups of people
