We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our warm, welcoming and nurturing nursery. 45 hours or 40 hours
Your Main Role and Responsibilities
* Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
* Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality care and education
* Ensure the nursery operates in line with the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
* Support staff development through guidance, mentoring and role modelling good practice
* Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
* Support the monitoring of children’s learning and development to ensure high-quality practice
* Step into the Manager role when required to ensure smooth nursery operations
What We Are Looking For
* Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
* Previous experience in a senior practitioner, room leader or leadership role
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills
* Commitment to delivering high-quality childcare and education
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
