Hawksworth are now hiring for a Lead Azure Developer (.NET, Microservices, DDD) for large, Insurance group. This client is not only is a leading Insurance company now but has huge potential for growth and innovative Technology driven projects going forward.
As the Lead Azure Developer you deliver scalable backend services using .NET and Azure technologies. You will need expertise in Microservice architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and team leadership, with a strong focus on establishing standard development patterns across backend services.
Salary on offer is between £80,000 to £92,000 base salary + good package. The role can be remote with occasional travel to Oxford and London HQ.
Required:
* Degree educated in a Computer Science related subject.
* Ideally Azure certifications (Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
* Expertise in Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps,
* Good understanding of Microservices architecture including event-driven and message-based systems.
* Familiarity with Blazor
* 5+ years in .NET development with C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API and SQL Server.
* Good leadership skills
* Financial Services experience ideally Insurance industry background
* Good communication skills
