This role requires someone with excellent customer service skills, who is confident, personable and able to interact professionally with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. You will be the first point of contact for many facilities queries, so a friendly, approachable attitude is essential.
This role also includes manual tasks such as setting up equipment, assembling furniture and carrying out general maintenance duties, so a practical, hands‑on approach is important.
We are looking for someone to provide efficient and effective support to our central Facilities team.
Role Accountabilities
Assist with planning and implementation of office moves including setting up equipment and assembling furniture.
Take ownership of facilities requests received and allocated via internal CAFM system.
Ensure actions from regular facilities inspections are carried out as required.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.
Regular maintenance and repair of office furniture and equipment.
General ad‑hoc maintenance duties and manual tasks including porterage of packages.
Essential:

Numerate, computer literate and accurate.
Uses initiative and completes tasks from start to finish.
Focussed on meeting deadlines.
Good communication and influencing skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to build and maintain good working relationships.
Full UK driving licence.
